For cyclists who cannot carry much luggage, shopping can be done online in advance by visitors who arrive by cycle, for delivery at the start of the holiday let period. Sainsbury's, Tesco and Waitrose deliver to this area.

 

There are several routes which can be taken for round trips from The Old Dairy by bike with village pubs along the way, as well as picnic sites.

 

Alternatively, why not cycle to Thurston railway station and take a train to try out a route further afield along the east coast or into Norfolk? Or why not take a train away from the cottage and cyle back to base?

The country lanes are pleasant cycle routes.

Main roads can always be avoided!
